    1. Thank you, Masa. You are very kind. Yes, I'm fine. I was very very lucky to be one of the few that didn't even lose power! However, because my commute is an hour and a half I am having great trouble getting back to campus :( The subway is gone for two to three weeks and the buses are not running. Hopefully I'll be able to go tomorrow. Classes started up again yesterday and I feel that I've missed too much school already. I'm scared I'll fall behind because in a foreign language, if you fall behind, you get in trouble because you always need everything you learned "yesterday". I can't just skip lessons. I've been studying at home, but I depend on the other students to help my pronunciation and practice. I also depend on the daily quizzes to help with memorization.
Our midterm is next week and I haven't even started studying for that. Gah! So stressful!
